From an earth-like planet in the distant space, a creature of human form and shape (Amir Khan) comes to Earth. But shortly after landing, a locket-shaped remote hung on his neck was stolen, allowing him to retrieve his spacecraft. In search of the remote, the peoples of the earth, who are unconcerned about the varied languages, customs, religions and cultures, are faced with a series of new conflicts, receiving the nickname PK (drunk) from everyone for their strange behavior on that journey.
The only one who constantly seeks God can return the lost remote. But by seeking God, he also realizes that every religion has defined God in its own way, and that God is in the business. At one point, with the help of a Gujarati bandwagon Barabai Bhairon Singh (Sanjay Dutt) and a brave young lady TV journalist Jagjjani Sahani aur Jaggu (Anushka Sharma), they engaged in a halt.
The fiercely curious alien discovers that a devout traitor named Tapaswi Maharaj (Sourav Shukla), seeking refuge in misogyny and fanaticism, is using his ill-concealed remote to steal a false religion. He then returned to his remote after long treacherous debates, conflicts and direct debates over television with the deceiver and false evidence. On the other hand, it offers unprecedented gifts, a universal, everlasting, logical and realistic solution to confusion and disagreement over the blind religious beliefs and superstitions of humanity.
